Bxd4 21.Qa4+ Ke7 22.Qxd4 exd3 23.Qxh8 dxc2+ 24.Kxc2 {(bas) so far so good, but what now? It took me much time to work out the available options. I missed the interesting move 24...e5!?; 25.Ne4, Bf5; 26.Qxb8 and 27.Rxd5.. So, did presumably Simon, as it was not disccussed during the postmortem. Stockfish rates both this move and Qxc5 as equal, with positions perfectly in balance.} Qxc5+ 25.Kb1 Nc3+? {(bas) However, here I completely missed the crucial 25...Qc3! with a draw te most likely outcome: 26.Qxc3, Nxc3; 27.Kc2, Nxd1;28.Rxd1, h6} 26.Ka1 Nxd1 27.Rxd1 Qb6 28.Nxh7 {Thanks for the game, Simon. I very much enjoyed playing it, even a short moment believing (before Bd4) that I had a better position.} {#r} 1-0
